Position: Data Capturer

Salary: R183,279 – R215,892 per annum (Level 04)
Location: Victoria Hospital, Amathole

Position Overview:
The Data Capturer will be responsible for providing administrative support services in data management and maintenance. This role requires a highly organized individual with basic administration knowledge, competent in computer literacy, and proficient in data handling.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Level: ABET level 4 or NQF level 1 to 3. No prior experience required.
  • Skills: Effective communication, basic numeracy, proficient in computer operations, and ability to draw data.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, responsive, and maintains a positive attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Capture and update data on computer systems and generate spreadsheets.
  • Ensure the validation of data for quality assurance, including correctness, completeness, and consistency.
  • Compile routine statistical reports and maintain the DHIS database.
  • Manage document registration, tracking, and further processing within the administration sector of the institution.
  • Routinely update and file records and transfer information from manual records to electronic documents for consistent reporting purposes.
