About the Role
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Truck Drivers to join our logistics and transportation team across multiple sites in Puget Sound, Washington.
As a Truck Driver, you’ll play an essential role in safely transporting materials — including aircraft parts, tools, and luggage — to support Boeing’s world-class manufacturing and operations.
We’re looking for skilled drivers with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pick, load, transport, and unload materials up to 35 lbs (and up to 20 ft long).
- Apply proper load securement techniques using ropes, straps, chains, ratchet binders, tarps, and other securing equipment.
- Handle fragile materials such as aircraft components with care and precision.
- Operate Class A vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules and maintain safety standards.
- Perform pilot car duties when required.
- Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Be available for variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Regularly lift 10–35 lbs and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, climbing, crouching, or squatting.
- Work in environments with noise, metals, solvents, and moving parts.
- Use personal safety equipment for eyes, hands, and feet.
- Remain physically fit to sit, stand, push, pull, and reach throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- 5+ years of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Must be able to operate a 13-speed manual transmission tractor.
- No CDL “Manual Transmission Equipped CMV -E restriction.”
- Experience using portable communication devices (radios, tablets, GPS, etc.).
- Ability to obtain the following endorsements:
- Hazmat (H)
- Tank (N)
- Doubles/Triples (T)
- Passenger (P)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of flatbed truck driving experience.
- Skilled in proper use of tie-downs, straps, chains, and ropes for securing cargo.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Additional Details
- Union Representation: International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT-174).
- Shift: Variable (includes weekend and overtime availability).
- Safety Sensitive Position: Subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
- Relocation: Not provided — candidates must live nearby or relocate at their own expense.
- Work Type: 100% Onsite.
- Export Control Compliance: Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Compensation & Benefits
