Education Assitants (EA) (must have Matric)

WHERE DO I APPLY FOR EA OR GSA OPPORTUNITIES?
Applications will only be accepted through sayouth.mobi (), so make sure your details are up to date and you know your password.

HOW MANY SCHOOLS CAN I APPLY TO?
You can apply to more than 1 school as long as you live within a walking distance from the location of the school (5 km radius); except for farm/rural schools where the ideal distance is 30km or less.

I AM A RECIPIENT OF THE SRD R350 GOVERNMENT GRANT, DO I QUALIFY TO APPLY?
Yes, you may apply. However, if you are selected for an EA or GSA opportunity, you will be required to terminate the SRD R350 grant within one month of working.

HOW DO I SEARCH FOR A SCHOOL CLOSEST TO ME?
Step 1: Type “DBE”, “GSA” or “EA” in the role, industry, or company field
Step 2: Press the blue “Search” button.

REMEMBER:

• Only apply to schools within 5km walking distance from your home (or 30km for farm/rural schools).
• Your application won’t be considered if you live further away.
• Some schools have the same name so also check the school address.
