Personal Assistant Position at SAPS Head Office – Crime Detection Division
Location: Office of the Deputy National Commissioner: Crime Detection, Head Office, Pretoria
Remuneration: R308,154 per annum

Job Requirements
- Citizenship: South African citizen
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in at least two official languages, including English
- Criminal Record: No previous criminal or departmental convictions or pending cases
- Vetting: Subject to security screening and fingerprint verification
- Education: Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) on NQF level 4
- Advantageous Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma, SAQA accredited on NQF level 6 or higher in a relevant field
- Relevant courses in the field of the post
Key Responsibilities
- Diary Management: Maintain and coordinate the Deputy National Commissioner’s schedule, ensuring timely reminders for meetings
- Meeting Coordination:
- Arrange and book venues based on expected attendance
- Organize refreshments for attendees
- General Administration:
- Handle routine correspondence
- Provide reception services and manage communication
- Type documents, reports, letters, and memoranda
- Administer the brought forward system effectively
- Travel Arrangements:
- Organize travel and accommodation for official trips
- Manage passport and related documentation for international travel
- Submit expense claims post-trip
- Resource Management: Oversee human and physical resources attached to the office
