As a friendly team player, your role will include promoting sales, minimizing stock losses, managing inventory, assisting customers, operating the cash register, and maintaining a low-cost culture to achieve business goals. What You’ll Do
Here’s a list of tasks you’ll be responsible for during your workdays:
Maintain a positive and secure store environment to reduce losses, following security and handling procedures.
Operate the cash register according to company policies and keep the store neat.
Ensure store efficiency and cost-effectiveness while working with a great team of Dynamos.
Assist customers with a smile, suggest additional products, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle customer queries and complaints while informing them about promotions and deals.
Be knowledgeable about products, showcase them effectively, and help customers find what they need.
Greet and assist customers as soon as they enter the store.
Meet sales targets and stay updated on new products.
Assist with stock ordering and store layout to enhance visual appeal.
Receive, organize, and manage deliveries and stock.
Process customer payments accurately using the cash register.
Stay informed about product updates and features.
Requirements
Here’s what you’ll need to be considered for this role:
- Matric certificate
- Experience in: Cashier, Customer Service, Sales, General Worker, General Assistant, Store Assistant, Store Associate, or Retail
- Live within 10km of the job location
- Clear criminal record
Preferences
Meeting these is a plus, but not mandatory:
- South African candidates
- Proficiency in English
- Computer literate
- A passion for retail to deliver a world-class customer experience
