Human Resource Clerk (Ref No: 0004/2024)

Salary:
R255,450 per annum (Level 6), with annual progression up to a maximum of R258,860 based on satisfactory performance.

Pretoria, Arcadia


Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in human resource management.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Proficiency in Public Service Policy Frameworks, including:
      • Public Service Act and Regulations
      • Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
      • Labour Relations Act
      • PSCBC Resolutions
      • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Hands-on experience with the PERSAL System.
    • Strong computer literacy.
    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Key Duties

  • Administer employee Conditions of Service, including leave management, housing allowances, and addressing inquiries.
  • Act as HR Representative during recruitment and selection processes.
  • Process transactions and maintain accurate records in the PERSAL system.
  • Manage payroll and associated records, ensuring timely filing and report distribution.
  • Support performance management and personnel skill development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HRM-related policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance for internal and external HR-related inquiries.

A proactive professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Capable of delivering high-quality work and engaging with both internal and external partners effectively.
