Job Summary
The Department of Community Safety is seeking a General Worker to support operations in the Traffic Management Directorate. The role focuses on providing hospitality and cleaning services, maintaining venues, and ensuring smooth operational support during meetings and workshops.
Annual Package: R155,148.00 per annum, plus service benefits

Key Requirements
- Education: ABET or STD 8 (Grade 10) results or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 0–2 years relevant experience.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Good interpersonal skills for liaising with senior managers and the general public.
- Effective communication, planning, and reporting skills.
- Cleaning expertise with attention to detail.
- Punctuality, loyalty, and professional demeanor.
- Other Requirements:
- No criminal record or pending cases.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve beverages for training, workshops, and meetings.
- Clean venues, kitchens, fridges, microwaves, crockery, cutlery, and cupboards after use.
- Assist directors and managers during office/boardroom meetings.
- Submit refreshments requisition forms as needed.
- Distribute and maintain cleaning equipment records.
- Support printing and document distribution tasks.
