Position: General Worker – Purification Department
Location: Meyerton, ZA
Company: Midvaal Local Municipality
Salary Range: R142,608 – R156,228 per annum (Level 13, Grade 8 Local Authority) + Total Package: R265,897.52 p.a.
Closing Date: 29 February 2024 at 12:00

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 10 education; Grade 12 is an added advantage.

Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Must be bilingual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preference for applicants residing within the Midvaal area.

Good physical health and capability to perform physical labor.

At least 01-year relevant experience in general work within a purification or waste water treatment works section within a Local Government Authority is advantageous.

Duties:

Load and off-load materials and equipment safely.

Place traffic signs during roadwork to ensure the safety of workers and the public.

Maintain cleanliness in and around work areas.

Execute various labor-related tasks as directed by supervisors.

Comply with all legal instructions to ensure productivity and smooth operation.
