Salary: R131,265 per annum

Requirements:

  • Education: NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent)
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Ability to read and write
    • Basic knowledge of food preparation
    • Understanding of hygiene principles
    • Ability to operate food service equipment
    • Good interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catering Support Services:
    • Assist in preparing food, snacks, and beverages (water, hot and cold drinks).
    • Manage boardroom bookings, including confirming and updating schedules.
    • Serve food and beverages during meetings and events.
    • Monitor food supplies, report waste and losses, and ensure quality control of all food served.
  • Kitchen & Hygiene Maintenance:
    • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and ready for use.
    • Apply hygiene and safety measures in food preparation and service.
    • Manage cleaning materials, supplies, and garbage disposal.
