About the Programme
The PB&A Graduate Programme 2026 is a prestigious initiative designed for top graduates in finance, investments, accounting, and economics who aspire to become future leaders in private banking and wealth management.
This contract-based programme combines on-the-job training with real-world financial exposure, preparing graduates to serve and advise high-net-worth clients as professional Private Advisors.
Graduates will:
- Participate in meetings, mentorship, and research projects to gain hands-on business experience.
- Develop expertise in wealth management, financial planning, estate planning, and investment strategy.
- Be assessed throughout the programme, with top achievers offered permanent roles within the bank.
Minimum Requirements
- FAIS-accredited qualification:
- NQF Level 7 Undergraduate or
- NQF Level 8 Postgraduate.
- Relevant fields: BCom Investments, Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Financial Management, Accounting, or Economics.
- Credit record check required (per National Credit Act).
- Applicants must reside in or around the designated locations (see below).
Programme Locations
Applications are open for graduates residing in:
- Gauteng: Sandton
- Free State: Bloemfontein
- North West: Vryburg, Klerksdorp
- Limpopo: Polokwane, Tzaneen
- Mpumalanga: Nelspruit, Secunda, Highveld & Lowveld areas
- KwaZulu-Natal: Durban
- Western Cape & Eastern Cape: Cape Town, East London, Gqeberha, George

- Regional deadlines:
- 30 August 2025 – Free State, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga
- 31 August 2025 – KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape & Eastern Cape
- 30 September 2025 – Western Cape & Eastern Cape (extension)
- 28 November 2025 – Sandton (Gauteng)
- Final closing date: 30 November 2025
