Overview

Eskom seeks five motivated Utilitymen to join the Logistics Services ERI team in Rosherville, Gauteng. This role involves performing manual unskilled work, including various heavy labor tasks essential to workshop operations.


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience:

  • Experience in cleaning workshops.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical field.

Skills & Competencies

Skills:

  • Time management
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) skills
  • Conflict resolution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge:

  • Understanding workshop cleaning procedures
  • Basic safety rules and regulations
  • Tool and equipment identification and usage
  • Practical technical skills
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
  • Assist truck drivers.
