Apprentice Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

NTC 3 Technical Qualification (Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or related Heavy Current subjects) OR

Technical Matric (Grade 12 with English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science, and one other subject) OR

Full NCV 4 Electrical (with 7 subjects).

A strong passion for the Electrical Field.

Must reside within the City of Cape Town metropole.

A valid driver’s licence (preferably Code C1 / old Code 10).

Must not have qualified in any trade before the programme starts.

Must not hold a National S Diploma or higher qualification.
