Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies Distribution Centre in Gqeberha is looking for a DC Driver (Code 8) to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of goods to the correct customer in good condition.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid South African Driver’s License (Code 8)
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- 2-5 years driving experience in Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
Job Specification
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to the correct customer.
Deliver the right products to the right store/customer at the right time.
Follow loading and unloading policies and procedures.
Verify all TU’s on the truck manifest are correctly offloaded.
Ensure collections/store returns/inter-branches are checked, signed, and returned to Dispatch.
Accurately record and load empty pallets, totes, and recyclable materials.
Ensure all DLS’s/trip sheets are correct and signed by store management.
Represent the company professionally and adhere to the uniform policy.
Inspect the truck daily using the weekly vehicle checklist and report defects to the Dispatch Manager.

Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit
Clear MIE, criminal, and credit record
