Assistant Restaurant Manager at KFC

Job Summary We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team! As an Assistant Manager at KFC, you’ll ensure the restaurant runs smoothly every day. From keeping customers happy to managing shifts and ensuring safety, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone. Lead your team, address customer concerns, and contribute to staff development through training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support RGM in maintaining CHAMPS Standards
  • Manage shifts for sales maximization, operational efficiency, and profitability
  • Assign and monitor shift employee responsibilities

  • Ensure proper maintenance procedures and report repairs promptly
  • Forecast and schedule labor, controlling costs while meeting business needs
  • Implement safety and security controls for employees, customers, and assets

  • Keep RGM informed of competitive activities affecting trading results
  • Report on employee relations, customer service, and health inspection matters
  • Assist in implementing training programs to enhance staff performance

  • Oversee daily operations in Front and Back of the House
  • Supervise shifts for optimal performance
  • Ensure excellent customer service and address complaints promptly

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food regulations
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff
  • Manage employee work hours, payroll, and maintain accurate records

  • Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary
  • Accurately handle cash and charge transactions
  • Secure premises at closing by enabling the alarm system

Requirements

  • Matric
  • English proficiency
  • Clear criminal record

Preferences

  • South African candidates
  • Experience as a Store Manager
  • Reside within 20km of the job location
