Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA) with no experience.
  • An appropriate bachelor’s degree/diploma (NQF Level 6/7) and a valid South African driver’s license will be an added advantage.

Duties:

  • Provide clerical support in requisition processes for goods and services.
  • Record requests for goods from end users.
  • Compile procurement plans and compliance reports.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding procurement.
  • Capture information and generate orders on LOGIS.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and compile reports on order transactions.
  • Understand the BAS System and maintain the supplier database.
  • Support the process of receiving and distributing stock, verifying received goods, identifying damaged or wrong items, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Capture goods on relevant registers and ensure safekeeping of goods.
  • Administer paperwork for distribution of goods and capture invoices from suppliers.
  • Provide clerical support for transport and travel services, including submitting bookings, maintaining transport forms and registers, and coordinating subsistence and travel claims.

Requirements:

  • Competence in supply chain management processes, inventory management, Public Service Management Act, Treasury Regulations, PPPFA, and other relevant prescripts.

Duties:

  • Verify and capture procurement source documents.
  • Place orders with suppliers in compliance with departmental policies and legislative requirements.
  • Reconcile received goods with orders, update inventory records, and ensure proper storage.
  • Create and print orders on the LOGIS system.
  • Source and ensure quotations meet minimum requirements.
  • Assist end users with compiling compliant specifications on the supply chain system.
  • Prepare and compile quotes, capture awarded contracts on the National Treasury Contracts Registration Application (CRA).
